You are right, the stations here do it 135.9 and it is understood to mean $1.36 per litre. Tell your heart sorry! I forgot you do not live here. The owner has it all thought out about getting rent for his rooms he rents out. Too bad about not letting the spouse go too, man you would have gotten two things done in one trip. Give safely. Lucky you, gas is expensive, it has jumped from $120.9 a litre to $135.9 a litre in the last several days. So what will it be on? You taking the spouse too? All you have to buy would be food right? Make it like a holiday.

Yes, Bernie is now in the rehab home for a week or two. I'm off to Minneapolis on Tuesday.

Bernie just got out of surgery. All went well. He's owned the car since 1940 or 41. He is third owner. Purchased here in Fullerton, CA.

Well, my 89 year old friend is having his second knee replaced in the morning. I keep telling him I'm depending upon him for a great party in 11 years. He doesn't think he'll make it but he might. He'll still be driving his '32 Ford V-8 then, too. :-)

I don't wish to check out anything like Actuaries, or whatever it is called. I just don't want to know. I had a mini-stroke in 2001 with 99.9% recovery. I had a gastric bypass in 2006 to improve my chances of "making it" longer. It has gone well. My other health issues are relatively minor and not life threatening (eye issues, bleeding ulcer from gastric bypass, prostate cancer). My fear is running out of money. I have a bit set aside but, who knows! I guess I'll know the answer for sure....in 50 years.

I do remember the OHC Sprint 4bbl. I considered getting one once. It is time to sell my Goat. My ten year old grandson is ill (MDS, a blood disease). His family could use the money while he's recovering from his third bone marrow transplant. You're retiring in 22 months? I'm already getting my Soc Sec but still working for a year or two more. ....reluctantly.
