Great Awareness!! I quote your comment: " wasting money on today's wind and solar technology just makes poor people poorer and Obama's buddies richer." I agree: wind and solar are near worthless because they cost more than the gas plant that is needed to make them an option!! Build the gas plant and be done.

Another excellent response to my article. While I am anti-nuclear, as always I appreciate well-written, articulate responses from both sides. Thank you.

Thank you for researching the articles, and telling the truth. That seems to be in short supply lately. I never vote for the party, but always for the person. There is very little difference between the parties, but a world of difference with the candidates. Thanks for accepting my buddy request.

There's a reason why the Olympic Training Center is here in Colorado. At the last Summer Olympics every bicyclist that won a medal either lived in Colorado or trained here. When your lungs get used to biking and skiing at 10,000 ft. or higher on a regular basis, it makes a difference. My two passions are skiing and biking.

You don't realize what a difference it makes living in Colorado until you travel other places. My wife and I did RAGBRAI in Iowa which is a bike ride of about 560+ miles over 7 days. You start by dipping your rear tire in the Missouri River on the Western border of Iowa and then riding across Iowa to the Eastern border, dipping your front tire in the Mississippi River. I felt like Superman being at sea level. My wife and I had a blast. Easiest long-distance ride we've ever done.

The first time I tried it, I got about 100 yards turned around, got back in my car and returned to Denver. Now I go from the bottom to the top without stopping once a year to prove to myself that I can still do it. I probably ride that road on my bike about 4 times a year stopping repeatedly. Echo Lake Lodge is our halfway point, keep going up that road and it takes you to the top of Mount Evans.
