Oh I see, I thought you meant for the world since it is called global climate change. Thanks for the clarification!

With all due respect, has little credibility as their mission is progressive taxation. The fact remains oil companies bear the greatest burden of taxation of almost any industry sector.

>>"I'd like the Koch brothers and other skeptics to explain why 2012 was the warmest on record if we're under the influence of global cooling."<< I'd like you to explain how you come to this untrue statement.

In response to your comment on oil company profits I'd love to hear your thoughts on the following. ExxonMobil in 2011 made $27.3 billion in cash payments for income taxes. Chevron paid $17 billion and ConocoPhillips $10.6 billion. And not only were these the highest amounts in absolute terms, when compared with the rest of the 25 most profitable U.S. companies, the trio also had the highest effective tax rates. Exxon’s tax rate was 42.9%, Chevron’s was 48.3% and Conoco’s was 41.5%. That’s even higher than the 35% U.S. federal statutory rate, which is already the highest tax rate among developed nations.

Hi : The democrats in Maine took back both state houses in November. The teachers union spent 2.5 million USD to defeat the republican majoriy. Guess those teachers make more then they cry poor all the time. One third of the state collects some form of welfare thanks to the democrats buying votes, like Obama, & it works !!
