You all have it wrong!
We are about to enter an age of global cooling! John Holdren has predicted that CO2 will cause global cooling. Read his textbook!

Translation: We don't have the empirical data to substantiate our doom-and-gloom predictions, but we still want you to panic!

The world has always moved in cycles and will continue to do so. As warm as the environment gets today, sometime tomorrow it will freeze again.

Let me get this straight. Ocean levels are rising at a rate of 6/100 of an "INCH" per year. So I guess in a 100 years they will have risen 6 inches and it would take 200 years for them to rise a foot. Not exactly something to be worried about in my book. Besides how did they come up witht he exact measurement of 6/100s? Have you looked at a ruler lately? Take one ince and try to subdivide it into 100 ticks. You can't without a magnifying glass. Nobody can predict what is going to happen 200 years from now, no matter what they think, the models they use or the adoration they receive from neurotic morons like Al Gore. Sounds like the same global warming alarmists crap that has been proven to be false in the past. Remember taht less than 1000 years ago Greenland ws actually farmed by the Vikings. They left when the mini ice age began.

Greenland is named Greenland because it was green when it was named.

Ice melting - new ice forming in Antarctica. Doesn't it all wash. And how does one measure .06 inch in an ocean...accurately? Why is Greenland named Greenland? The earth cools/the earth warms. Wazzup, dog?

And 10,000 years ago there was so much ice that the ocean level fell enough to create a land bridge between Asia and North America. The ancestors of native American walked across that bridge to get here.
2000 years ago it was so warm that the Romans were able to cultivate grapes in northern England. Our climate changes by itself, with or without our intervention. Get used to the idea.

Glaciers and ice caps have melted before. New England was under a glacier 10,000 or so years ago. It melted. It's all part of natures cycle.

Natural cycle of the earth. Nothing can be done to speed it up or slow it down. Remember the ice age and extinction of the dinasaurs.....that was also nothing to do with humans.
